The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory Monday morning for Laramie and the surrounding areas that runs through Tuesday morning.
"The freezing rain may last several hours before changing over to rain on Wednesday with the passage of a warm front". Rain will eventually transition to a wintry mix and then to all snow this evening.
Temps will be climbing to near-normal territory Tuesday and even milder on Wednesday supporting liquid precipitation (aka rain) rolls into NE Ohio Tuesday night.
The freezing rain is associated with a Colorado low tracking northeast across Lake Huron and Georgian Bay Wednesday.
Northern Durham and York regions can expect five to 10 centimetres of snow while southern Durham and York regions can expect two to five centimetres.

She said although the windchill would be near -19 early in the morning, it will become less intense by the afternoon. As winds ease on Monday, the warning will be lifted, but temperatures near -20C or colder are still expected Monday night. Dangerously cold wind chills will arrive Thursday evening into Friday morning.
