Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle gave royal baby watchers a little more information about her pregnancy on Monday morning.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly did not attend Kate Middleton's birthday lunch last weekend.

She wrote: "Meghan has told wellwishers in Birkenhead that she is six months pregnant - due end of April/beginning of May!"

According to royal reporters, Meghan confirmed to another fan that the baby is due in April, and that neither she nor Harry know if they're having a boy or girl, since they want it to be a surprise.

When Kensington Palace announced the duke and duchess' exciting baby news in October, it only said that the former "Suits" actress was due in spring 2019. They also visited a number of local community organizations.

"Just as Meghan encouraged a helping of culinary adventure, so she dramatically changed the contents of Prince Harry's fridge", Morton told the outlet.

Clutching her growing baby bump, the duchess braved chilly conditions in Birkenhead to spend 40 minutes shaking the hands of well-wishers who wanted to know the answers to the questions on the minds of all royal fans.

The Duchess wore her luscious brunette locks in a bun, while husband Harry looked as handsome as ever in a grey coat and smart pair of pants. The organisation offers a range of training courses and workshops for over 6,000 local women, including support groups around mental health issues, domestic abuse and addiction.

They were also scheduled to visit Tomorrow's Women Wirral.

They ended their visit at the Hive Wirral Youth Zone, run by the charity OnSide Youth Zones.
