Under such a scenario, India will be compelled to take the field without Pandya and Rahul in the series opener at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Taking a cue from the sexual harassment case involving BCCI CEO Rahul Johri during past year, Committee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji has called for both players to be placed under suspension. Also, the BCCI Player Agreements defines "gross misconduct" as, "Any conduct which may bring disrepute to the game of cricket and/or the BCCI including the Office Bearers of the BCCI".

He however insisted that the controversy won't affect the team's dressing room morale.
When the host of the show asked him why didn't he ask women their name in a club, Pandya responded by saying, "I like to watch and observe how they (women) move".
