Evan Blass strikes again: the notable tech leaker tweeted a video of what could be an upcoming Xiaomi tri-folding smartphone.

The device can be triple folded with two hinges near the center and it switches from a tablet to a phone. The firstly unknown handset was later named as Galaxy F. Now, one of the top rivals of the company is also possibly coming up with the concept of another foldable sensation.

The age of the foldable phone is nearly on us and if anyone needed more proof of that, here is one - a foldable phone believed to be that from Xiaomi has leaked online providing us with a brief but clear idea of what such a device will be like when, if ever, it is commercially launched.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see Xiaomi beat its competition to market with an innovative new device such as this. We are also likely to see more of Qi wireless charging, phones without 3.5mm port, IR assisted face unlock, glass backs on entry-level devices, smaller, teardrop shape notches.

It was quite hard to figure out which brand the foldable Android belongs to, but the icons appearing on the screen hints that it's Xiaomi foldable smartphone.

The video comes from Evan Blass via Twitter who notes that the authenticity of the footage is unverified.

It's not bound if this is often really a Xiaomi device, as well as a shipping product. there's some proof to support the leak, though.

To recall, Royole had recently showcased their foldable smartphone Flexpai, thus, marking the beginning of the foldable screen era. Then, the user folds the right side and the left side of the screen towards its rear one after the other. However, this is the first time we are hearing that another popular Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi could be joining the bandwagon soon.
