Forbes said it valued her company at almost $800 million, and Jenner owns 100 percent of it. She launched it two years ago with a $29 lip kit containing a lipstick and lip liner. The company, of which Jenner owns 100 percent, is worth $800 million alone.
Jenner, who's on the cover of Forbes' August 2018 "America's Women Billionaires" issue, is worth roughly $US900 million, according to the magazine. One more year of growth in Kylie Cosmetics and her other ventures will make her the youngest self made billionaire ever.
The Facebook founder, who is now estimated to be worth more than $70 billion, went from millionaire to billionaire at age 23.
"I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own", she tells Forbes. Last year, that meant Kylie paid her mom $17 million.
Kylie's boyfriend and Stormi's father, Travis Scott, couldn't be more proud of his girlfriend for her impressive accomplishment. "At 21, she's set to be the youngest-ever self-made billionaire", reads the cover.
"Calling Kylie Jenner "self-made" is like calling McDonald's "homemade" stop this madness", a user said on Twitter. She isn't some college student who pooled her pennies for an initial investment in her business. (We estimate that 37-year-old Kardashian West, for comparison, is worth $350 million.) But she's not just making history as a woman.
"Social media is an unbelievable platform", Jenner said.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is used to copping criticism over her clothing or looks but this time it's a Forbes magazine cover that has everyone talking.
"Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi, if she's into it". "So top executives at tech firms who are compensated for helping significantly grow companies make the ranks but not second-generation-women running family businesses". She has been a reality television star since she was 10 with regular appearances in her family's television shows Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney And Khloe as well as her own show Life of Kylie since 2017.
