Fekir is a prime target of Liverpool's this summer and the club are willing to offer Lyon €55 million plus up to another €5m in add-ons as they look to strengthen their options in the final third of the pitch.
Despite earlier reports suggesting a deal would not be completed until after the World Cup had finished, a fee has reportedly been agreed between the two sides.
It appeared Liverpool would have to wait to sign Fekir after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said on Thursday that he did not expect the attacking midfielder to be sold before the World Cup. Didier Deschamps' side play their final World Cup warm-up game against the U.S. in Lyon on Saturday and the manager had instructed his squad to settle any outstanding transfer business before flying to Russian Federation.
"The deal will certainly not close during the World Cup and I do not think there is any change before the World Cup".
"We haven't set a starting price because we haven't discussed that yet".
Lyon's £60m playmaker has been keen on a switch to Liverpool despite interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
