Just ahead of E3 2018, Warner Bros. Hitman 2 will take players to a fresh sandbox full of new weapons, locations, targets, and tools to plan their flawless assassination. That being said, IO Interactive will still provide "tons and tons of post-launch content". It features multiple worldwide locations, but it will highlight Miami and an in-progress motorsport race that form a key part of the game's story. Three versions have been confirmed: Standard Edition, Silver Edition and Gold Edition (which includes two expansions; the Silver includes one). Traditional protagonist Agent 47 will also learn more about his past, which means that we can probably expect a deeper storyline. Interestingly, it's available today in early access for those who pre-order Hitman 2.
While IO Interactive and Warner Bros. have announced the existence of the game - alongside a release trailer featured up above - neither has given many details on what the game is going to be like: Whether it will be a full game outright or an episodic title like the most recent Hitman title from 2016 remains to be seen. The physical Collector's Edition will come in a gun case replica and will include a SteelCase, a bullet keyring, a rubber duck, and a signature coin.
For those wannabe assassins who fancy some physical swag, you'll get everything from the Hitman 2 Collector's Edition bundled into an Agent 47-style guncase, a bullet keyring, rubber duck (yes, really!) and a signature coin.
Coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Hitman 2 adds a whole host of new locations like a race track in Miami, and some rainforests, as well as a standalone co-op mode called Sniper Assassin.
