A tractor trailed filled with liquid chocolate overturned, and its contents spilled out onto a Polish highway.
Officials say that the chocolate began to cool and harden nearly immediately, making cleanup a hard task.
Officials say the cooling chocolate will be a worse road hazard than snow, and it could be hours before the road is usable again.
It remains unclear what caused the lorry to crash into the motorway's central reservation, however images showed it sprawled across the road obstructing traffic in both directions.
"It will take a few hours or more", the senior brigadier shared.
According to Kukawka, the truck belonged to a company from the south of Poland, and the driver - thought to be aged around 60 - was being treated for minor injuries. "It looks like a huge chocolate bar", he added.
What do you do get when a tanker truck full of chocolate sauce spills all over the road?
No one else was hurt in the accident. This is a sad day for chocolate lovers, for sure.
