Those who have enjoyed the SEGA Ages releases over the years either on PS2 or the most recent 3DS entries, they certainly know that M2 never ceases to disappoint.
The Sega Genesis console was a massive global success. Sega Ages is the label Sega give its downloadable back catalogue.
That being said, as mentioned above, they did say that the tech used on the Mega Drive Mini is "new and improved", which means that users should probably expect a better experience compared to the Sega Genesis Flashback console. The unfortunate news is that the "Fes (tival)" is being held at Belle Salle Akihabara in Tokyo but IF you happen to be in Japan and you CAN attend, the good news is that it's free!

Three of the games confirmed were Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force IV and Phantasy Star. However, the Switch was seemingly absent from this announcement.
At the moment we do not know about the pricing of these 15 titles so as soon as we hear something regarding the upcoming titles, we will let you guys know. The company also announced that it would be bringing a number of classic games to the Nintendo Switch this summer. The reassurance from Mullen that we'll see some "eclectic arcade titles" is nice, too, promising that even die-hard Sega fans might find some brand new old games to mix with their favorites. No details have been released on price, features or, most importantly, which games will be included on the cute device.
