After almost two years of waiting, we finally have a release date for Insomniac Games upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man for the PS4.
If that wasn't exciting enough, comic book artist Alex Ross designed the front of the mag for a truly unique looking cover like no other.
Announcing the news earlier on today via Game Informer's May issue, Insomniac Games revealed that the game will be released on 7 September. Game Informer also reveals they'll be a fast travel system, a photo mode, and no microtransactions. Pay extra special attention to the statue though and you'll notice something is obviously missing. A bit of a wait, not in the prime of summer as many of us were hoping but at least it's coming this year! The game is now available for pre-order on Amazon! "From traversing with parkour and unique environmental interactions, to new combat and blockbuster action, it's Spider-Man unlike any you've played before".
That said - no matter where you buy it, or which edition you get, you have a chance to grab these pre-order items. Both interviews chronicle the development period and how each person approached the opportunity of helping to create a Spider-Man game.
