Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank's wedding is scheduled for Autumn this year, but no exact date has been announced yet.

Princess Eugenie is engaged to be married to Jack Brooksbank, Buckingham Palace announced yesterday.

The year 2018 will see not one, but two British royal weddings-Princess Eugenie is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank. Prince Harry and his American fiance Meghan Markle will marry at the same chapel in May.

Stowe-alumnus and widely known socialite Brooksbank, 31, is a brand manager for the Casamigos tequila brand in the United Kingdom and Europe.

The Queen is wishing the couple "all the best".

A series of engagement photographs, with Eugenie proudly showing off her padparadscha sapphire and diamond engagement ring in pictures taken in Buckingham Palace's Picture Gallery, was released to mark the announcement.

New bulletins were full of the announcement as the country shared their excitement over the second royal wedding of the year.

Princess Eugenie said: "We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and we fell in love and we have the same passions and drive for life". The couple is set to Wednesday in autumn 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle-the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting married on May 19th. The Buckingham Palace then announced on Monday morning that the Princess is engaged to Brooksbank.

Mr Brooksbanks, who is now a wine merchant, proposed with a blush-coloured padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds, very similar in design to the Duchess of York's engagement ring.

An ecstatic-looking Jack added: "I love Eugenie so much and we are just so happy and over the moon for what is to come". "Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony", was written over a sweet black and white photo of the couple.

Brooksbank is the son of George, an accountant and company director, and Nicola and attended the $13,000-a-semester private school of Stowe in Buckinghamshire, England for most of his education.
