The winning numbers drawn Friday night to claim the nation's 10th largest jackpot were 28-30-39-59-70-10.
One ticket matched all six numbers in Friday night's drawing and will claim a $450 million grand prize.
A single Mega Millions ticket sold in Florida matched all six numbers drawn Friday night, entitling the victor to the $450 million grand prize. The identity of the victor was not immediately available. The draw is to be made on Saturday night.
The jackpot victor can choose a cash option and receive $281 million. One Oklahoma and one Texas winning ticket included the optional Megaplier, so those two tickets are worth $3 million because the 3X Megaplier was drawn. The Powerball jackpot and Mega Millions jackpots are both over $400 million at the same time for the first time.
The identity of the victor was not immediately available. However, under Florida law, the person can not remain anonymous.
The victor has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
The winner's name, city of residence and details on the winnings can be made public; however, the person's home address and telephone numbers are deemed "confidential".
Saturday's Powerball jackpot has grown to $570 million, the fifth-largest in the game's history.
