But this time around the famous comedian landed on the front page for all of the wrong reasons as reports have revealed that he was arrested in Miami after a shocking confrontation with police.
The arrest report for Buress wasn't available Sunday and it's unclear what led to his arrest.
There's been no word so far on whether or not Buress will pursue further legal action against the officer or officers who engaged in the verbal altercation with him.
Miami Herald reporter David Orvalle, tweeted out the police report which echoes the information in Slater's tweet.
"I am under arrest?" For what? Explain what I'm detained for.
"What am I detained for?"
The police told Burress he was arrested for trespassing but an official at the jail told TMZ that he was arrested for "disorderly intoxication".
"You know yall goofy as f--", Buress appears to respond, saying cops "dont have probable cause for anything". Take the handcuffs off of me, I didn't do anything.
After about several minutes of back-and-forth, Buress eventually had to be forced into the vehicle by one of the officers.
Buress posted bail shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.
"No, you're making it harder", Buress said.
Some Twitter users just wondered what it was all about. Buress, who famously outed Bill Cosby as a serial rapist in his live act before that scandal broke in major media circles, will surely have something to say about this incident before long.
The comedian has starred in numerous standup-comedy specials and as an actor in movies such as "Spiderman Homecoming "and "Baywatch".
