Photos released by the FBI Wednesday morning that were believed to be of a missing 3-year-old North Carolina girl at the center of a statewide Amber Alert have been debunked.
Mariah's two older brothers were at home at the time of her disappearance, according to friends.
Mariah is a white female, approximately 2 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 30 pounds. Mariah has brown hair and blue eyes.
Mariah Woods, from Onslow County, was reported missing early Monday morning after her mother, Kristy Woods, discovered that she wasn't in her bed, where she had last seen her the night before.
A photo from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety was not immediately available.
The FBI is helping with the search for the child, NBC said. "She's my baby, she's my everything". He said that he found out his little girl was missing when the Amber Alert went out yesterday. Anyone with information is asked to call the Onslow County Sheriff's Office at 1-910-989-4070.
Family members said there was no sign of forced entry or anything wrong with Mariah's room.
Drones and helicopters have been supplementing ground searches. "Please, bring her back".
The child is not Mariah Woods and the woman does not have any connection to the ongoing investigation to find Mariah, they said.
The family also said Mariah would not have left with a stranger.
Authorities in North Carolina are searching for a 3-year-old girl who disappeared after being put to bed Sunday night.
They made it to school safely.
"Mariah's mother describes her as their "little angel", with a goofy, outgoing and talkative personality".
