Chippewa Falls will celebrate the Christmas season with its 28th Bridge to Wonderland Parade on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Organizers expect traffic to be slow between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on 108 Street between Jasper Avenue and 100 Avenue as the parade disperses. Ltd. held Toronto's first Santa Claus parade, which began with a single float and took Santa from Union Station to the Eaton's store on Queen Street. The floats, cars, marching bands and Santa Claus bringing up the rear will follow a route on McLean Avenue to West Foster Street and head south in the northbound lanes up to West Holton Street.
Families will bundle up to catch a glimpse of old Saint Nicolas downtown for the 27th annual Santa Claus parade.
Bloor Street West, from Christie Street to Bathurst Street, at 10 a.m.
Food trucks and Porta Potties will be located north of Jasper Avenue at 105 Street in Beaver Hills Park and south of Jasper Avenue near 102 Street.
Stoney Creek: The 61st annual parade happens December 2 at 2 p.m. and follows this route: King Street East from Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School to Battlefield Drive.
Paris: The parade happens December 2 at 6 p.m. downtown, beginning on William Street. The run itself got underway at 11:45 a.m. followed, nearly immediately, by the parade.
