Customers can shop for Amazon devices at the Whole Foods Market location in Rochester Hills on November 13. Amazon has been expanding its brick-and-mortar presence: It recently opened shops inside some Kohl's department stores and it has opened a dozen brick-and-mortar bookstores.
The company will bring its devices to over 100 Whole Foods stores, and open dedicated pop-up shops in a few of the chain's grocery stores during the Thanksgiving weekend. It's not yet known if these deals will also be available online.
The e-commerce giant, which bought Whole Foods Market earlier this year, will be rolling out Amazon-branded pop-up stores inside the grocery locations by the end of the year, including in a number of Bay Area stores.
During the announcement, though much details were not disclosed, Amazon did promise that there was still "more to come" and customers who hold Amazon Prime memberships will be getting "special savings and in-store benefits".
Amazon has its own online Black Friday plans but it hasn't announced specific deals yet. The speaker can also be used to get info, such as the weather for upcoming trips, or to start playing music when guests arrive.
