Marilyn Manson has cancelled nine shows after being injured during a concert in NY. Manson is scheduled to perform at Boston, MA's House of Blues tomorrow night, October 2nd.
It was not immediately clear whether any of Manson's concert dates will be postponed due to the injury.
Manson fell backward and the prop fell on him.
Manson, real name Brian Warner, had only kicked off his Heaven Upside Down Tour in Maryland on Wednesday (September 27).
Video footage taken by fans in the audience has emerged on Twitter following the incident.
The singer was taken to hospital, according to an agent of the artist, who, however, has not provided further details. However, moments later the huge frame came tumbling down on top of Manson, pinning and crushing him to the stage. Concert goers were told the rest of the concert was cancelled "due to injury".
A representative for the star confirmed witness reports that he had been hospitalised, telling Variety: "Manson suffered an injury towards the end of an incredible NYC show. 'Heaven Upside Down" is released October 6th, with an insane video to stoke the fire.
Clips from the scene show tour staff instantly lifting the prop off Manson, but he does not get back up.
