The former American football player was jailed after being convicted for kidnapping and armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel, back in 2007.
"While we respect the Nevada Parole Board's decision to release Simpson, it's still hard for us knowing he will be a free man again", the Goldmans said in a statement, according to ABC News. Simpson, of course, had been acquitted 13 years earlier in the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman, though a 1997 civil trial found him accountable for the deaths.
Simpson's lawyer, Malcolm LaVergne, said by text message on Sunday morning: "All information related to Simpson's whereabouts is confidential until (Monday) at the earliest".
"Our biggest concern was our safety and the public's safety and not wanting anybody, paparazzi, to follow him", Brooke said.
A judge ruled in July that Simpson would be released on parole.
Speaking to CNN Tom Scotto, a friend and occasional spokesman for the retired footballer, said: "He's going to focus on kids, friends, his family and golf".
Simpson argued that the memorabilia and personal family photos were taken from him, and that he was merely trying to get the items back.
The three had attended Simpson's parole hearing in July at the same prison where Simpson spent his prison term and was released just minutes into the first day a parole board set for his possible release. The spokeswoman explained that he was released at midnight to avoid media flurry.
OJ Simpson had made an unsuccessful bid for parole in 2013.
According to the Palm Beach Post's Hannah Winston, Bondi wrote a letter to the Las Vegas Department of Corrections and asked it to "immediately notify all appropriate authorities" that the state would be opposed to his return.
The Florida Department of Corrections said officials had not received a transfer request or required documents.
The jury also awarded Brown and Simpson's two children US$12.6m from their father as recipients of their mother's estate.
He becomes eligible for release Sunday (09-01-17), but LaVergne said he doesn't know where or when it will happen. She cited Simpson's previous run-ins with police in Florida and says the state "should not become a country club for this convicted criminal".
