KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Amy Schumer will be among the cast members of the Broadway-run of Steve Martin's new play, Meteor Shower, ensuring that, like Hamilton, there's no way in hell I will ever get tickets to see it.

A press release describes "Meteor Shower": It's a hot night in Ojai, California, and Corky (Schumer) and her husband Norm (Tudyk) are having another couple over for dinner. The show is shaping to be quite the amalgamation of hilarious personalities: Keegan-Michael Key is one of her costars, as is Laura Benanti (who won a Tony for Gypsy) and Alan Tudyk (Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph).

Meteor Shower will also mark Key's first Broadway production, after previously taking to the stage in the Off-Broadway rendition of Hamlet.

"Meteor Shower" first appeared on stage at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre before landing in CT.

Directed by four-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks, "Meteor Shower" is scheduled to begin previews November 1 at the Booth Theatre on West 45th Street, with opening night set for November 29.

Amy Schumer speaking about her film "Trainwreck" at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival in New York, April 19, 2015. Martin tweeted praise for Meteor Shower's "impeccable cast" before joking: "Just think, we can all love each other until the first day of rehearsal!"

This play will be Martin's second effort on Broadway to follow his 2016 musical titled, "Bright Star".

Opening night is set for November 29th at Broadway's Booth Theatre, with previews beginning November 1st.

Schumer is also set to star in the movie I Feel Pretty alongside Emily Ratajkowski, where she'll play a normal woman who falls and wakes up thinking she's the most attractive and capable woman alive.
