Arcade Fire just announced their brand new record, 'Everything Now' will be releasing July 28 and they made a decision to unleash their title track, which happens to be co-produced by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. They tweeted "Stay tuned for Infinite Content" the day before the announcement, their site redirected to a mysterious pseudo-livestream, and a false Twitter account appeared to leak information. Arcade Fire performs at the UNO Lakefront Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Arcade Fire last released 2013's "Reflektor", with band member Win Butler receiving an Oscar nomination for his score with Owen Pallett to "Her" the same year.
Update: Arcade Fire just shared new single, "Everything Now". During the tour, they will be supported by the likes of Broken Social Scene, Wolf Parade, Angel Olsen, Phantogram, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Grandmaster Flash.
The physical album will be available in various formats, including CD, cassette and a limited edition black vinyl with 20 variations of the artwork in 20 different languages. Tickets are $35 and up and go on sale at 10 a.m. June 9.
