Live from Victoria, it's Lisa Kadonaga.
And when reports surfaced last week of Spicer meeting with reporters, at night, in the shadows among the bushes outside the White House, inspiration struck Lisa Kadonaga.
The cutout was inspired by a report last week that White House press secretary Sean Spicer was spotted hiding in the bushes from reporters, while another White House staffer conducted interviews, after Donald Trump fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey on Thursday.
Chaos ensued in the hours that followed President Donald Trump's firing of Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey on Tuesday.
The FBI is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 USA election and it has been reported that Comey sought more resources to investigate links between Russia and Trump's campaign. She says that after fielding a veritable tsunami of requests for the picture she made a decision to upload it to Dropbox.com, where interest was so great that it temporarily crashed the Internet sharing site. I thought I could do that ... with a photocopier.
"And hey, if you're concerned that when exposed to the outdoors, the image will run.no worries, that's exactly what Sean Spicer does, so it's totally authentic!" she wrote in a Facebook post Thursday. "I was really stunned as the picture of the preparation and the installation in the bushes kinda took off".
"Kinda took off" is such an understatement, it borders on being an alternative fact. Kadonaga's artistic creation has also been covered by leading news sites, such as the Los Angeles Times, New York Daily News, CNET, Time, People and CNN.
"I was trying to figure out from my friends, who got hold of this?"
As of Tuesday, the post had been shared more than 110,000 times on Facebook and has been picked up by news outlets worldwide. So she created cut-out accessories ideal for any yard.
Kadonaga believes many people might be sharing the photos out of sympathy toward Spicer. News that everyone has been in Spicer's situation at least once - times in which they've been told to go out and do a job without the right tools or information.
