This year's Star Wars Celebration runs April 13 - 17 in Orlando, Florida.

The first official teaser trailer for "Star Wars: Episode VIII - the Last Jedi" has just been released, and already, fans and movie pundits have been poring over the short promo video looking for clues on what the newest "Star Wars" is all about.

Warwick Davis is coming onto Star Wars Rebels, after having been in all the trilogies and ambushing Filoni about a role past year at Celebration Europe. "As to whether Luke is the 'Last Jedi, ' they say in 'The Force Awakens' he's going to find the last Jedi temple and Luke is the last Jedi", he said. "Just Breathe and now, reach out".

Davis will be playing Rukh, the assassin bodyguard of Grand Admiral Thrawn, and a popular character from Star Wars Legends (the former Expanded Universe). A temple? A shot appears to show a bookshelf filled with light which could correspond to an ancient Jedi site, and Rey indeed talks about seeing "light" amidst great darkness. "I know only one truth".

The teaser has more than 480,000 YouTube views in less than an hour.

Ridley also spoke to MTV about Luke and Rey's not so harmonious relationship in the movie.

The Last Jedi, which will open in cinemas in December, will also see Kylo Ren star Adam Driver return. This marks the Scream Queens actress' first public appearance since her mother's death. My mom, like Leia, wasn't ever afraid to speak her mind and say things that might have made most people uncomfortable, but not me and not you.

"I'd like you to take a moment to appreciate the work these guys have done", said Filoni, to thunderous applause. "As attracted as I was to her, I couldn't handle her as a girlfriend. And then, at the end of six hours, there would be like a four-word line of dialogue". She said the film will go "deep" into Rey's story and reveal how it can be hard meeting your heroes - presumably alluding to a cranky Skywalker.

Fans had been lining up on the sidewalk overnight to get into the event, hosted by "Frozen" actor Josh Gad and featuring Ridley, Boyega, Johnson, Hamill and Kennedy.
