KXIP vs KKR Live Score

In this age of teasers announcing teasers announcing trailers, it's nearly a miracle to come across a fuss-free #trailer that is just so good you'd even watch that for 2 hours instead of the movie itself.

I truly wish I could include the newly released redband trailer for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri in this post, but we are attached to a family newspaper, after all, and more than that, I value my job. "My daughter Angela was murdered seven months ago", McDormand deadpans in the trailer.

Bloodshed, high school groin-kicking, F-bombs, oh my!

His 2008 dark comedy In Bruges topped our list of the best comedies of the century so far and now writer-director Martin McDonagh is finally returning five years after Seven Psychopaths with a new film.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri also stars Sam Rockwell, Abbie Cornish, Lucas Hedges, Ċ½eljko Ivanek, Caleb Landry Jones, Clarke Peters, Samantha Weaving, John Hawkes, and Peter Dinklage.

Here's the official summary, from IMDb.

Mildred Hayes (McDormand) plays the foul-mouthed mother who erects three billboards questioning the police and in particular, William Willoughby (Harrelson), the local police chief.

When Willoughby's No. 2 Officer Dixon (Rockwell) - an immature mama's boy with a penchant for violence - gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing's law enforcement is exacerbated.

Twitter commentators are delighted by McDormand's performance in the trailer, from attacking a dentist with his own drill to kneeing some teens where the sun don't shine.

It's certainly a roundabout crime-solving romp with a feminist twist. Let us know in the comments!
