Indeed, Goldberg has had Lesnar's number since the first time they locked horns, at WrestleMania XX. Stephanie McMahon seemed to make this match just so Banks couldn't be by Bayley's side in her championship match later on.
Bill Goldberg is once again a champion in World Wrestling Entertainment, running through Kevin Owens in a matter of seconds to win the Universal Championship at WWE's Fastlane event on Sunday, March 5 (Monday Manila time). Here are some quick and "well though out" predictions. On the kickoff show, Noam Dar and Brian Kendrick vs. Akira Tozawa and Rich Swann. He just wants to show them off one last time. Nia Jax can be good, but the WWE hasn't figured out how to use her the right way yet.
-Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks. Knowing WWE though, odds are Banks gets her win back. Long-term, the plan is for Sasha's heel turn to be complete in order to set up a match between The Boss and Bayley at WWE SummerSlam.
Tag Team Championship - Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass: WWE has done an adequate job rebuilding Gallows and Anderson after hanging them with an very bad comedy gimmick as The Club came to an end. Fans have been critical of the quality of matches Lesnar and Goldberg produced in the past. While putting the titles on Amore and Cass would help refresh their careers, I see them getting the titles at Wrestlemania.
While Jack Gallagher is perhaps the most popular member of the Cruiserweight Division, Neville has the star power to fit in on the WrestleMania card. This match has had some really good buildup leading to Fastlane.
Is Roman Reigns headed for the mega push?
Samoa Joe made his WWE pay-per-view debut with a victory against Sami Zayn in the opening bout, but this was not the blowaway match I was expecting.
Who will win Samoa Joe. Jackhammer! We have a new WWE Universal Champion. The new Raw Women's Champion Bayley defeated Charlotte, who challenged the former for the title earlier.
- WWE is teasing a continuation of the Charlotte Flair - Bayley feud. This is the hardest matchup to call.
As per a report by Mirror, the other matches were also evenly exciting. During it, Shaq and Big Show had a bit of a showdown and a WrestleMania match was constantly rumored. (2) Reigns becomes Strowman's latest victim, jolting the big man's feasibility as a Taker opponent exponentially entering 'Mania. Of course, he took the belt off Roman Reigns, who didn't especially need it either.
Winner: Braun Strowman - Most of you gave Undertaker the assist, but we'll get to him in a minute. Triple H Pedigreed Rollins for the sake of allowing Kevin Owens to win the title. The big question is how will he retain? Pretty amusing when you consider how Jericho and Goldberg would love to murder each other in real life.
Three weeks ago, Owens finally looked like a legitimate champion.
